With so many organizations and neighborhoods holding events, it's hard to keep track of them all - so we made a list of what's happening and where. The Hill Rag also complied a handy list of ongoing activities and walking tours in the area that you shouldn't miss!

NoMa Pumpkin Palooza 2017

Where: 1150 1st St., NE
When: 4-7 pm
What: Free pumpkin carving (first 600 pumpkins at least), petting zoo with cute animals, face painting, live music, seasonal snacks available for free. Timber Pizza cooking up food for purchase, selling cider, beer, and wine. More Info Here

Where: 7th Street, SE between Pennsylvania Ave and North Carolina Ave, SE
When: 5:30-7:30 pm
What: Hill-O-Ween offers food, drinks, face painting, a pony to pet, and much more!

Fall Fun Day at Mt. Vernon Triangle
Where: Milian Park - 5th and Massachusetts Ave., NW
When: 10:30 am Mini-Monsters Parade (Squee!) and 11:15 Dog Costume Parade (Double Squee!)
What: Also stick around for bowling with pumpkins, mini-pumpkin painting, cider tasting, face painting, bouncy house. Last day of the MVT FRESHFARM.

Pumpkins in the Park at Canal Park
Where: Canal Park - North Block
When: 11am - 1pm
What: Celebrate fall with some fresh air, creativity, and FREE family-friendly entertainment! The fun includes pumpkin decorating, face painting, a giant pumpkin moonbounce, a festive photo-op for fall family photos, a costume contest with prizes, juggling, and kids performer Mr. Knick Knack! This event is FREE and open to all. Pumpkins will be available on a rolling basis throughout the event, so come early to get yours. More info here.

Halloween Spooktacular!
Where: Congressional Cemetery, 1801 E Street, SE
When: 1-4 pm 
What: Drinks, treats, pumpkin decorating, hayrides, and a costume contest.

When: 2-4pm
What: Join Rural Dog Rescue for a doggy costume contest, adoptable pups, gift bags, and fall fun. More info here.

Capitol Hill Montessori At Logan Haunted Harvest 
Where: 215 G Street, NE
When: 6-9pm
What: Haunted Harvest: Haunted House, Ghoulish Games, Zombie Dance Party, Pumpkin Painting, Spooky Sing-a-long and Storytelling, Mad Science Experiments, and more
Tickets are $20 online or $25 at the door

Capitol Hill Arts Workshop Halloween SPOOKtactular
Where: 545 7th St., SE
When: 2-3:30 pm, Fundraiser Happy Hour 5-7 pm
What: Starting at 2 pm, enjoy a recital in costume from music students and before a parade and reception.

Curious George A Halloween Boofest!
Where: 13th Street Community garden (13th and C St., SE)
When: 5 pm
What: Great event for the younger kids! Halloween arts and crafts starting at 5 pm before a screening in the 13th Street Community Garden of Curious George: A Halloween Boo Fest. The movie runs an hour, so everyone can get home in plenty of time on a school night.

Halloween at Rosedale

Where: Kingman Park Rosedale Garden (interior block bounded by 20th, 21st, D, and E Streets, NE)

What: A candy hunt in the garden followed by a Hocus Pocus movie night at Kingman Park Rosedale Community Garden.

A Very Barky Halloween
Where: Yards Park
When: 1pm - 4pm
What: Come out to The Yards Park for A Very Barky Halloween. Bring your pets in their Halloween best and enjoy a pet costume contest with prizes and a parade down the Capitol Riverfront Runway, on-site pet adoption, and Bark-or-Treat throughout The Yards.

Atlas Presents: Two Spooky Silent Films w/ Live Music Accompainment
Where: Atlas Theater for the Performing Arts, Lab Theatre II, 1333 H St., NE
When: 4 pm
What: Spooky double-bill showing of two silent films: The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari and The Devil's Assistant. Films will be presented with live music from pianist Andrew Earle Simpson. Free popcorn served and guests are invited to dress in costume.
