The Great Ward 6 Spring Clean is back! This year's Ward-wide clean-up event will be on Saturday, April 5, from 10 a.m. to noon.
This is one of our favorite events of the year, because who doesn't want to get together in warmer weather and show some love for Ward 6? Last year, more than 300 neighbors joined us at 17 sites!
Will you pitch in this year? Here's how:
RSVP below, and we'll send you all the information you need to volunteer, including a list of sites to choose from. You can also feel free to clean your own block (tweet us a pic using the hashtag #ward6springclean).
We also need site hosts! Let us know if you'd be willing to serve as a point of contact for your block or with an organization or group of neighbors by emailing Kimberly Kennedy at [email protected], and we'll connect you with volunteers.
If you need supplies, we'll have trash grabbers, gloves, and trash bags available for pickup on Friday, April 4, from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. at the Eastern Market Metro station.
And after we're done, we'll meet at the Roost (1401 Pennsylvania Ave. SE) until 2 p.m. to grab a bite together and return any supplies. Please swing by!
