Join your neighbors and Councilmember Allen for a little spring cleaning as we step outside and take some time to beautify Ward 6! We're hosting three locations, but we're also coordinating with community groups, school PTOs, ANC leaders, and more to make sure we give every inch of Ward 6 a good scrub. RSVP if you're down to help clean a little bit on Saturday, April 1 (that's not a joke).

It doesn't take much, but if we all pitch in, it's going to make a big difference!

Residents are welcome to join clean-up locations across the Ward hosted by either our office or community leaders and businesses, or do a clean-up on your block or alley (don't forget to post and use #W6SpringClean). 

Supplies: We'll be distributing bags, gloves, and other cleaning supplies tomorrow from 4:15 to 5:30 pm at Eastern Market Metro Plaza, near the entrance to the metro. Most, if not all host sites, will have supplies onsite Saturday morning.

  • Meet at 17th and Barney Circle
• Navy Yard (hosted by neighbor Tori Collins): POSTPONED 
  • Meet in front of the AC Hotel (867 New Jersey Ave, SE)
• Tyler Elementary School (hosted by Tyler PTO) POSTPONED
