We are more than halfway through the Year of the Anacostia, so let's take a summer morning to enjoy coffee on a dock by the river. The Anacostia Riverkeeper will be offering boat tours to see a few of the sites. It's a Friday morning office hours unlike any other -- start your weekend by or on the water! Let's explore the beautiful Anacostia River and enjoy some coffee on a summer Friday morning.  

Starting at 8:30 am, we will meet on the bridge between Heritage and Kingman Island for coffee. Boat tours with the Anacostia Riverkeeper will be at 9 am and 9:40 am.

Getting to Kingman: 

It's a very lovely bike ride over and a short walk from the last station on the Streetcar on Benning Road.

If you prefer to drive, park in Lot 6 in the RFK parking lots near the entrance to Kingman and Heritage Islands.
