Beat the summer daytime heat and join Councilmember Allen at the Canal Park for "Kids in Canal" - located at the cross streets of 2nd Pl. and L St., SE (the central parcel of the park)! Kids in the Park always promises a fun romp in the park with activities - be sure to have your kids be ready to hit the splash park!

And join us in supporting the DC Diaper Bank by bringing disposable diapers (especially needed are sizes 5 and 6) - volunteers from Capitol Hill Seventh-Day Adventist Church will have a table collecting diapers on behalf of the diaper bank.
