***Thank you to everyone for attending the Ward 6 Budget Town Hall! Here's a copy of the slideshow presentation.
Join Councilmember Charles Allen and team for a discussion on the next budget for the District of Columbia. During this annual event, Councilmember Allen will quickly run through the budget process, will breakdown what the Mayor has recommended, share some of his own priorities, and then open up the floor to hear from residents about what needs to be funded.
Every year this event helps Councilmember Allen hear directly from Ward 6 residents on what is most important. If you don't really understand how the budget process works, or even how it fits into DC government, don't worry about it! Feel free to come and learn a bit - and all you have to do is let us know what you value and want to see more of in your neighborhood.
If you can't attend in-person, a live stream will be available on Facebook.
