Ward 6 Week returns! As the city slows down over the summer, let's have some fun and celebrate what makes Ward 6 such a great place to call home.
If you're in town during July 23-30, 2019, join Councilmember Charles Allen for Ward 6 Week and let's have some fun while exploring some of what Ward 6 has to offer. It's Summer in #The6! All events are free of charge, though several events are first come, first served on ticket and availability.
Tuesday, July 23:
10 am: Baby and Toddler Story Time at Shaw Neighborhood Library (Shaw)
Wednesday, July 24:
7 pm: District Trivia at Wunder Garten (NoMa)
Thursday, July 25:
4 pm: Ward 6 Day at Nationals Park (Capitol Riverfront/ Navy Yard)

6 pm: Evening Monuments by Boat Tour (Southwest)

Saturday, July 27:
10 am - Capitol Hill Arts Workshop Summer Saturday (Eastern Market)
9 am -12 pm - Mt. Vernon Triangle Groundwork Service Project (Mt. Vernon Triangle).
Please note, Councilmember Allen cannot attend this event, but if you're a Mt. Vernon Triangle neighbor, this is a great event to support as the Mt. Vernon Triangle CID launches this new service opportunity!
